Rutchanna Jongejan obtained a MSc-degree in Pharmacy at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. After graduation, she was a production pharmacist for 2.5 years at University Medical Centre Utrecht, Utrecht, The Netherlands. She is currently working on her PhD project at the department of Clinical Chemistry under supervision of prof. dr. Yolanda de Rijke, department Head, in collaboration with prof. dr. Robin Peeters, Head of the Academic Center of Thyroid Disease, department of Internal Medicine at Erasmus MC University Medical Centre, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Her work focuses on LC-MS/MS methods with a specific interest in thyroid hormone metabolites.
